MISSY LOFTIS

My Goal
My experience and passion lies in working with those who have experienced trauma and abuse as I walk alongside them on their journey to emotional health.  In addition to trauma, areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, divorce adjustment, domestic violence, blended family struggles and other life challenges.  I see individuals, couples (both married and premarital), and families in my practice and use a tailored approach to help clients meet treatment goals.  I see all clients as complex and unique individuals who exist in many complicated systems of family, work, and friends.  I received my master’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee.  My goal is to provide a comfortable space in which you can explore your story and experience deeper and more meaningful emotional connection in your relationships.

Personal
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my husband and our blended family of six adult children. I enjoy reading, cooking, savoring a good strong cup of coffee, and traveling.  My family and I are also committed to serving the needs of the children we have come to love and cherish in Jeremie, Haiti.
